Liz Connors, Director of Analytics, Headset
Liz Connors is the Director of Analytics at Headset, Inc. A cannabis intelligence company that turns retail data into real-time cannabis market insights.
Headset helps companies in cannabis succeed by promoting better decision making via market intelligence offerings and operational insights in a sleek, intuitive and easy-to-use package.
Prior to working for Headset, Liz worked as a Data Scientist in CPG retail and financial services, as well as spent some time in Financial and Economic Consulting. After eight years working as a Data Scientist Liz started her own Data Science consulting business where she advised small businesses on how to use their data to make better product, marketing, and operational decisions. Along with her work at Headset, Liz currently works with researchers at the University of Pittsburgh and London Business School doing experimental research on heuristics and biases that impede business decision makers from optimally using data to drive decisions.
Liz has a BS in Accounting and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Lo Friesen, Founder & CEO, Heylo
Lo Friesen is the founder, CEO and Chief Extractor of Heylo. Upon obtaining a degree in Environmental Chemistry from Northwestern University, Lo followed a passion for medicine to work in a renowned gastroenterology lab in Chicago, IL. The experience inspired her to explore cannabis as medicine and to enter the emerging industry.
Lo joined Eden Labs, a leading CO2 extraction equipment manufacturer, to build a Research and Development department. Leading a team of 5 people she managed the development of Eden Labs’ newest system, the FX2 Supercritical CO2 Extractor.
After working with another cannabis processor, Lo launched Heylo in 2017 with a mission to provide a multitude of cannabis experiences through clean and great tasting cannabis oil products founded on education and transparency.
Lo and the Heylo team are committed to education and facilitate community engagement by hosting educational events, a concert series, public tours, American Chemical Society meetings, CANN-STEM events, and Heylo Sessions events. Her personal mission is to provide cannabis users with as much information as possible and to enable active and engaged lifestyles with cannabis.
Anna Shreeve, Managing Director, The Bakeree
Anna currently owns and/or operates retail licenses in Washington and California. This includes two retail licenses in Seattle, WA, The Bakeree and she recently sold her interest in a Bend, OR retail license in order to focus more on licensing opportunities in California and across the US. She also has equity in patented CBD food and topical brands preparing to launch online and at retail nationally. Anna is on the Editorial Board of Cannabis Business Times (B to B Retail Magazine) and a founding member of Women in Weed.
Prior to entering the Cannabis Industry in 2011, Anna held executive management positions both in general management and sales management of Television, Radio and Marketing Companies; including CBS, Belo Broadcasting, Cox Communications, and Etagz Inc. As early as her mid 20’s Anna has had various leadership roles in media while successfully building revenues and value for several high profile entities.
Phil Parrish, Co-founder & Managing Director, PrograMetrix
A sales and marketing leader, Phil has spent the past 10 years of his career working within the digital marketing industry on the ad tech and agency sides. Phil is the Co-founder and Managing Director of PrograMetrix, a programmatic advertising agency in Seattle.
