Community building can often be one of the most overlooked resources in any start-up company, but particularly in the cannabis industry. This industry is surrounded by tons of conversation and criticism, because people often don’t understand the importance and the overall mission of the industry.
Navigating dispensary marketing tactics can prove incredibly difficult when trying to promote a cannabis brand. Hope mentions that it’s not about saying what you’re selling, it’s about bringing people in through tactics such as a website, email list, and consistent updates. A brand who creates partnerships with its surrounding companies is more likely to bring in customers. It’s an opportunity for education, and it’s an opportunity to bring awareness to the industry as a whole.
Every customer base is different and is constantly changing. Like she says, it’s all about finding what works for your business and brand.
