Why is what you are discussing at the event interesting and important?

The best that the cannabis industry can do to support Black cannabis business owners is to take them seriously. We will be discussing 7 tips that will help organizations meet their diversity marketing needs while doing their part to create a more inclusive industry.

What does this group bring to the cannabis marketing space that sets you apart?

We are experts at solving the complex challenges of diversity marketing in the cannabis industry.

Our mission is to bring a positive perception to, and authentic understanding of, cannabis and its consumers around the world. What is your favorite consumption method and why? Tell us a little about your relationship with cannabis.

I am a social smoker and prefer to smoke joints…for me, cannabis has always been about the community that is created when you smoke with others, the conversations, and the commonalities that we discover.

The goal of the Summit is to evaluate the current state of cannabis marketing and learn about the practical tools, tactics, and data that produce effective strategies and campaigns for cannabis brands across the country. Why is this important?

This is important because marketing communications and initiatives have the power to shift the way people think about doing business in the industry.

What is the future of cannabis marketing? What are your predictions for the next year?

I believe that next year we will see more live events, experiential marketing is the cornerstone of the industry as is the case with other formerly prohibited and highly regulated industries.
